CONCLUSION: EMOTIONAL OUTBURST

A time when you can't hold back emotions. A time when you need to say eveything you need to say to breath easily. It's hard comming from someone who doesn't say much about their feelings. So once and for all I said it, thru text. Not a good manner I suggest. It gives me chills as well. A long time partner who has been there for the longest time and proof, he's gone. Not literally, but you can't feel his presence anymore. At times you need to understand what it is,what that means, or how it is. Questions can't be answered! Period. To tell you it's not my intension to break up with that person. I don't. I really don't. I just want him to change his ways. It's tough. Yes, I did hurt him. His feelings, his ego, or maybe all parts of him. Eventually it will affect an aspect of his life. I don't know. Maybe I'll never know. I don't want to know. Or maybe I do. Really troublesome. I don't know what's gonna happen yet but I hope this will have a positive result.

CONCLUSION: LITE FOODS AT NIGHT

Training yourself to eat less that you're used to is really hard. As much as possible I want to eat less at night because they say, it will be hard to be digested since we wouldn't be doing anything after we eat. I guess that's true in my case, since my metabolism is really slow.

This time I eat light snacks or noodle type of  foods.  I can't observe this during the weekends since I am at home. My mom cooks a meal and I can't resist eating it with rice. So I follow this one during the weekdays because I am at work until 11 pm. I hope I get results from what I am doing. If not then that's OK, since it's important for me to train myself to eat less than the usual.

CONCLUSION: ON FIRE

Feels like I'm traumatized by the situation I've been through last Sunday. Someone shouting on our neighborhood was normal but this one was really shocking "SUNOG!". Everyone inside our house ran outside to check it. And hell it was big, red, blazing hot fire is coming near our house. We get back to the house and pack our things as quickly as we can. Pack our clothes, appliances, and important documents. It took us 10 minutes before we're done. My dad was in a panic state he kept shouting at me and my mom to get out of the house now. He and my boyfriend will be taking out the stuffs. Filipinos are known for bayanihan and it happened that day, that time. Some of our friends, far away neighbors, and relatives came to help us out.

Everything was out, we are outside, our things was outside the street. I panic since there are still no fireman around us. The fire was getting worse. I for one prayed and prayed so hard that our house wouldn't be burned by the fire. That's the only thing I can do. After a few minutes fire fighters are rushing to the street we're at. I was thinking "our house will be saved". They are Chinese fireman, they are known to be fast, and can take out fires in a short amount of time. Well I guess I was never wrong with that. About 15-30 minutes the fire was out but not completely. Our house was saved. We still have a place to live in to. I prayed again and thank the Lord.

brave men of the fire

Here's another part you will not be happy about. Some people have the nerve to rob us a midst the fire. There are 5-7 kids around the age of 8-12 years old who are coming towards our stuff. Only few of us are there to check our things because all of the boys are checking what going on with the fire. I'm so pissed at these kids and I cussed them so that they'll go away. Well they went away, however, I'm still checking whether they'll come back again. People these days don't know how to sympathize with the situation. I hope this wouldn't happen to them, so that they wont know the feeling.

I am thankful to God that he was listening to our prayer. He still bless us despite the fact that we don't go to church every Sunday. I don't want to promise his though that i'll be there every Sunday, but at least 2-3 times a month would do.

CONCLUSION: ON A BUDGET

As much as possible I want to enjoy the weekends with either my family or my boyfriend. Well I guess I enjoyed too much to the fact that I overspend. I had a Php. 500  extra money to spend for the weekends and another Php. 500 for my daily allowance next week. My family is craving for some J.co doughnuts so we bought a dozen but since my moms friends wants some too we shared the bill and bought two dozens of doughnuts (it's cheaper). Afterwards I went to visit my boyfriends house because our plan is to stay at his place and relax ourselves. And by relax we mean eat. We ate at a nearby karinderya(local Filipino diner) called Terry's. Nothing fancy but the food is good (if you want to try Filipino food) and affordable. Afterwards we went to a place near by to talk and enjoyed ourselves basically. We went back home and I noticed that I overspend and I have Php. 250 in my pocket.

Nerve raking moment to think I need to spend Php. 50 a day for my 5 days at work. Every day I tried to prepare my packed lunch so that I would just spend money on light snack. The Php. 50 a day include the fair and snack. Good think I was able to manage this for a week. I was amazed I was able to do that. Up until now I was thinking I deprive myself of the food I want to eat. But hey there's nothing wrong with that. I learned my lesson not to overspend again.

NOTE TO SELF:"PLAN AHEAD, NEVER LET THE THINGS YOU WANT RUIN YOUR BUDGET!"

PASSION: A SONG

I'm not usually into songs, but when I do I get hooked like for a long time. Sitti Navarro's songs are played so well. The tune of her songs are relaxing for me. The lyrics are easily to be understood. She is known to be a bossanova queen. She really is! Her voice is so mellow, you can listen to her all day er day.

I wish I had her voice, I'd definitely serenade my boyfriend. haha. I was listening to her particular song "Para Sa Akin" all day. Oh the beat was so perfect. It doesn't apply to my love life though. There was this one line I would say to my lifetime boyfriend. "Pangakong ikaw lamang ang iibigin mag-pakaylanman..."

CONCLUSION: NETWORK PROVIDER

One leading cause of fights between couples is because of their communication. Imagine you already sent a text but your partner hasn't received any after a few minutes. Definitely a cause of problem! These days we rely on electronic communication with our friends our families, and our partners as well. Often times here in the Philippines messages come in late. Well as per what I know, if we sent an SMS to someone that person should receive it on his/her phone after 30 seconds. Isn't that fast! But that's not the usual thing here. Every time it's raining we experience late messages, having hard time calling, or registering to unlimited calls/text and sometimes it so happens that you never as in never receive a particular message. Most of the time this happens to me and my mom, we both have different network providers for our phone. She said she texted me already, but I said to her I haven't receive any even if its the next day.

Well I can't do much on this issue. Network providers should try to resolve not just this but these issues. Partners should just understand the fact that electronic communication isn't perfect as we wanted it to. Keep in mind that relationships are not bounded by mishaps. Enjoy most of your time Together. :)

CONCLUSION: UNDECIDED

Honestly speaking, I am not earning much in my morning part-time job. It's kinda frustrating thinking about it. It felt like I am striving to get nothing. I've come to the conclusion that I should try applying for another job, but this time a full time job in the morning. I'll keep my part-time job at night. I may be greedy over money but I just want to save for myself. Let's face it, I'm turning 22 and at this time I still don't have a bank account. This is sick! Saving is something I should for myself and for the future, my future.

So back to the job.. I'm still contemplating whether or not to find another job. For the past few days, I am already searching for a job but no luck for me.  As for now I'll give it a month to think it over. Well I hope things would turn out the way that I wanted it.

CONCLUSION: FOR ESL TEACHERS

A year had already passed since I started teaching in an Online English School.  I am a teacher by profession. I majored in Business Technology and not English. I want to be an English teacher even before.  Unfortunately the University I went to doesn't offer English major in education courses. So I got stuck with the course until I finished it. To my mind, I just wanted it to be over and take a post baccalaureate in English after that. That's just a plan, but it's going to happen anytime soon.

After graduation, I applied through the internet, and after a few days I got the job as an Online English Teacher/Tutor in a Korean company. I really liked the job since teaching is my passion and a plus would be teaching English. Another plus would be the pay. If you are a newly graduate most of the time you'll get the low paying job but in this case you get a lot more than you expected. Right now I am working for two companies but as a part-timer. Both for Koreans and Japanese students. So here are some things you need to keep in mind with regards to this kind of job.

1. Be Punctual.

-Since you are dealing with foreign bosses always keep in mind that you can't and you shouldn't be late or absent. Japanese & Koreans are very particular with the time, they would always think time is important since it's part of their culture. So let go of the so called "Filipino Time".

2. Always smile.

-Show your pretty face always with a smile. It'll give you positive vibes all throughout the day. Remember that smile is contagious. A smile cost nothing, but it gives much to those who receives it. In that manner, it will be your students, your boss, and your co-workers.

3. Read.

-Take time to read the books or the articles for your lesson of the day. Well some teachers even my self gets surprised o how to teach a specific lesson if you weren't somehow able to read it. Be ahead of your students, although there are times students doesn't even scan or take a look at their books or articles.

4. Take note of the time.

-There maybe times you will enjoy your class but take note of the time. You don't want to be late on your next class if you have a consecutive class. Most of the time you'll have 3-5 consecutive classes.

5. Put a little makeup on.

-Don't be scared to try a little make up on. A dab of lipstick or gloss won't hurt. If you are in a video class, you don't want to look pale in the camera. Also putting blush will make your face look lively and youthful.

6. Make your life easier, write notations.

-This is very important since you need to make comments after the class. If you have consecutive classes, the problem if you don't write any notations chances is you will forget what happen in your class. You don't want to be playing back again the video class you had. Bad luck if the company doesn't record a video of the class.

7. Use different teaching styles.

-Every student is a different personality, age, level, and attitude. Most of the time you'll deal with different kinds of students, so don't use the same teaching style over and over again. Vary the method you use specially for kids, make it fun and lighten up your mood even if they are not in mood to study. You can try different games or activities in class.  For teenagers try to be a little bit friendly and understanding since they are so tired from school, academy, or cram school.

8. Be patient.

-Some students take time to answer. I suggest you wait for their answers or if you can't just give them options so that they may be able to answer the question.

9. Focus

    - When you are having a class try to avoid surfing unnecessary website like facebook, twitter, pinterest and other social networking sites. Don't chit-chat with your friends. Also don't use your phone in class.

10. Enjoy the class.

-Don't stress yourself, have fun in class. Always remember you are there to teach so make it enjoyable. Make your class a fun so that the students would be looking forward to have a class with you again.

PASSION: MAKEUP ROUTINE

Putting makeup on is part of my routine specially when I'm working. Well I guess I need that   since I am an online English teacher for a video account. As much as possible, I want to look my best when I am facing my students.

Let's start with the routine.

First of all I put a moisturizer on my face Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Day Cream.
I've been using this since my college days.
I don't have break outs because of this product.
It moisturizes the dry patches on the sides of my nose and lips.

Foundation would be the next ting may it be liquid or powder.
I usually use Maybelline Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation.
It blends easily and does not have the cake-ish feel to it.
The shade is a tad lighter than my skin color when applied but
it oxidizes after few hours so the color matches my skin.

If I am being lazy or in a hurry, I just put on powder on my face. I also use Maybelline Clear Smooth Al in One Shine-Free Foundation. Same as the liquid, my face looks flawless. However, this product in particular always breaks even if it does not fall down or something.

After foundation, I fill in my brows using Elf's Brow Gel
and Powder. With my brush I take the Gel first then the Powder then I apply it to my brows. It stays on all day.

I curl my lashes, then apply two(2) coats of mascara.  The mascara I usually use is Maybelline's Hypercurl Volume Express (waterproof).    What i like about this product is that it makes my lashes voluminous.

Now on my cheeks I always use the Elf Contouring Blush & Bronzer Duo. It's really pigmented. However, what I don't like about , the bronzer has shimmers in it. I prefer a matte bronzer. But the blush has a pretty color. Matches morena skin. They say this is the dupe for Nars Orgasm blush & Laguna contouring duo.

For my lips I always use Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in rendezvous and smitten. The lasting power is awesome, it stays on for hours. I reapply only once. The lips feel hydrated as well. Not the usual stain lippies that dry your lips.

PASSION: INSPIRING BLOGGERS/GURUS

I have been always a fan of watching YouTube videos as well as reading blogs by different beauty bloggers and gurus. From watching and reading I became knowledgeable with the use of makeup. It's was an amazing feeling or should I say achievement to finally apply the techniques I learned from these people. Well I can say they already have a wide range of people looking up to them A.K.A. fans/viewers. I am also one of them.

Here are the beauty gurus that I really liked way back 2008.

julieg713 - was the first guru I watched doing a video. While I was watching her video, I was like WOW she's really good at this thing. Julie mentioned Judy of  itsjudytime on her vlog then I checked her out.
I got hooked with her beauty channel maybe because she's a Filipino  Judy also has a daily vlog with her wonderful family (Benji & Julianna), I watched it every single day. It's like a reality show called itsjudyslife. As I am watching it, I'm thinking I wish my family in the future maybe the same as what they have.
Look at this wonderful family.
Next on the list would be Kandee Johnson she has a blog and another blog and You Tube channel. I think she's fantastic like a supermom. She talks fast which is sort of funny for me.
Kandee & Ellie
And there's this chameleon beauty guru who can make your jaw drop because of different looks and transformation she makes. She's really Awesome! Maybe you've seen her in 9gag.com's memes. Promise Phan the woman transformer.
Promise Phan

A beauty guru and a business woman is the next one on the list is Michelle Phan the sister-in-law of Promise. She can give good advises on make up, love, routine , and a lot more.

Let's move on to the Filipino bloggers that I really like. They're just two (2).

First one is my ultimate favorite is Miss Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity. When I was in college I used to check her blog all the time. She's good in reviews on different products. I also like her advises on make up. I think she's really classy and knowledgeable as well. I sometimes envy her because she's good on words.

The last on on my list would be Say Tioco Artillero. She is also a beauty guru and a blogger. She's gives cheap and good makeup finds for her Filipino viewers. She's really young and of the same age as I am. I am inspired by her success in the business.
